My first entry.  First Ever.  First this year.

2004 has been crazy so far.  But I'll only go over this past weekends.

This weekend, I decided not to go to the mountain, because of the concussion I received during a hockey game a few days ago.  I thought about quitting hockey entirely for a short second.  Then I decided not to.  Maybe I will just go with ice next season.  Too much injury in inline hockey.  So instead of snowboarding,  I hung out with a couple of freinds over the weekends.  It was a little too much.  Craziness in Zydeko.  That place was hot.  And I am not just talking about the temperature.  So much lust, desire....

Next day, my friend and I took a brewry tour at New Belgium.  My first one.  It is nice to start drinking in the middle of afternoon once in a while on a day like this.  The place is very nice.  The beering tasting was excellent.  Great place to bring your visitors.  Went drink more afterword and I was toast by dinner.

Sunday, after sleeping on my friend's sofa over night, I went a little bit of indoor climbing.  A little bit of climbing.  That's what I thought, before I went in.  Ended up being hard climbing session. Tried 5.11 lead climb I haven't attempted yet.  It looked harder than the ones I sent.  It cerntainly didn't disappointment me.  Very small hold and steep angle.  Took a rest in the middle.  And at the last hold, before I hung my rope around the open loop at the end, I could tell I had about 10 % chance of making it.  But I ignored my fear and just went for it.  Bringing the rope up.  Almost right there.  And I took a 10 feet fall. What a rush !  And What a rope rash I got on my stomach during a fall !  I'll try the route again next time.  My goal this year is to on-sight 5.11 lead climbs outdoor.  Gotta train hard.  Obtainable.  But needs to work on it.
